I did another one because I can. Feeling pretty jazzed.
drawing + illustration
I tried turning this into a vector yesterday and it was weirdly grayscale but if I do swatches it seems to work. Feels really good to have finally gotten around to doing this thing.
Playing around with Illustrator. I’ve been meaning to figure out how to scan hand drawn stuff. It doesn’t seem too hard. Getting some weird greyscale stuff going on.
I scanned these critters last summer in the hopes of getting something going on Redbubble/S6 but didn’t do anything with it at the time — something my life falling apart. But I’m digging through that stuff and getting back going. It only took a little over a year. Tomorrow I think I’m gonna get them ready to rock and roll. Or at least start.
Back when I was out in Calgary, potentially when I was recovering from the acoustic trauma and concussion, I went to Banff and Canmore to sketch and meant to do something with those sketches. Well that time has come. I’m putting this one up on Redbubble and Society6 for whatever it’s worth.
My first set of ghosts. I hope there are more to come
Ghosts are rad
More quotes because me and moderation are not well-acquainted and I enjoy variations on a theme.
Don't love the helmet but a nice try.
The eye of the tiger, the face of the fox.
Some foxes inspired by the colours in Norway's snowboarding/skiing colours.
A thing I've been playing with the last couple of days.
I am going through some files, as one does when the have a mound of hard drives that are a mess, and I found my Brrrrrrito pics. This is a gem.
Also, that hat. It just works. I don't know how I either forgot how to draw hats or got stuck on it. But those were the days.
A joke I've had running around in my mind for a bit. Second one in colour.
